Presentation Model. I have done a bit of WPF in the past and the View Model is used there quite a bit. And as you said, the View Model is to present "a" Model to a View. That Model could well be the Domain Model assuming the system is simple enough, Data Transfer Objects to facilitate serialization for instance, or Presentation Model which has the only reason of existence to provide GUI architecture independent data to GUI controls and no business semantic embedded.Well, hopefully I am right, I have to say I have a hard time finding good resources about Presentation architectures.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/3198935374994345981/2865828606482685741/comments/default/4292862806478961041'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/3198935374994345981/2865828606482685741/comments/default/4292862806478961041'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.codinginstinct.com/2008/10/view-model-inheritance.html?showComment=1226703480000#c4292862806478961041' title=''/><author><name>Daniel Fernandes</name><uri>http://blog.danielfernandes.net</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img1.blogblog.com/img/blank.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.codinginstinct.com/2008/10/view-model-inheritance.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3198935374994345981.post-2865828606482685741' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/3198935374994345981/posts/default/2865828606482685741' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1780096280'/></entry></feed>
